♥ Farm trip
We went to Hay Diaries Goat Farm, frog farm and Aero Green Tech (aeroponics). It was organized by the Geylang Serai NC so wt’s mum bought a few tickets and we went with his aunts and cousins. It’s like a primary school excursion. The weather weren’t very cooperative though. It started raining when we reached the CC and pouring at Lim Chu Kang where the farms are. The umbrellas we brought were put to much use. There was nothing new at the goat farm. It’s the standard procedures of showing the visitors milking, allowing visitors to feed the goat and kid, testing the goat milk. Visiting the frog farm was super boring. Cos it’s raining and we have limited umbrellas, we couldn’t walk around much to take a look. I’d rather visit the mushroom farm. Remember the primary/secondary school excursion to the aeroponics? It’s the exact same aeroponics i visited when I was in primary/secondary school. Took some photos of the greenery.

Right after the trip, we went back to Ar bo Betty’s house for shower, rest and ate dinner which was prepared by Verny. I loved the toast cheese bread that she made. The mushroom soup was pretty good even though it’s not what I expected. I expected mushroom soup to be the thick creamy type. Pizzas were a bit soft in the middle section due to moisture caused by vegetables. I preferred crispy crust. Overall, still thumbs up. Sorry, no photos for dinner as I was too tired and hungry to flash my camera at the food. Some entertainment after the heavy meal: Scrabble, which we played in pairs. It’s a tie between me, mai luck and wt, Ar bo both pairs scoring 175. Later in the night, I and wt went over to popo house at bedok to sleep cos mai luck offered to drive us to East Coast Park for the Passion Run in the morning. Zzzzz…..
