♥ Uneasy feeling

Went jogging with Wt around Woodlands area. I started to pant after running 400 m as warm up. Yes, my stamina is really that lousy. Then after that I ran one round the estate area while Wt ran 2 and back for cool down. I haven’t been exercising for 2 years so after this my body is aching horribly. A signal for me to exercise more. After the morning exercise, we went back and shower. In the afternoon went to make my spectacles at Manchester Optics near Botak Jones at Woodlands. Within half an hour, I could collect it. It is quite cheap also given it is the super thin lenses. Wt went to collect his Passion Run pack and this is the number he got. Nice number right?
Then off we went to meet S and J for movie, Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian, at Vivocity. The movie was a bit long and personally I feel it’s not as captivating as the first one. S booked the whole theatre for his church people. Wt and J knew some of them and I feel so out of place while they were talking. I’m not being anti-social. It’s that I don’t feel that they are that friendly. And somehow gives me the feeling of they are snobbish. Maybe it’s just me. After the movie, we went to Keppel Bay TCC for dinner. The view there isn’t that fantastic la. You see yacht, ship, lights lor. The view from Mount Faber Jewel Box and view from the café Jx held her birthday party is so much better. After meeting S for the second time, I find that he demands a lot from services. He asked whether the chilli beef soup is spicy, the waiter replied not too spicy. So he decided to order it. It turns out that it is very spicy to him. For me, I think its okay so he gave the soup to me. One can’t really blame the waiter for saying that it is not too spicy as different people has different standards. To the waiter just like me, may think that it’s ok. As for desserts, he asked will it take very long to serve if he ordered after the main course. The waiter replied not too long. So he decided to order after the main course. But the desserts were served after quite some time. How fast is fast is subjective. Not all desserts require the same amount of time to serve. Apparently, dark devotion needs 15 minutes to serve. Even my ti-rum-misu was served later than dark devotion. Is that considered long? In a café, one is expected to sit down, relax and chill with friends. It’s not a fast food restaurant. Talking with friends makes time pass by very quickly and 15 minutes is gone. For them, 15 minutes is short. As for people in a rush of time, of course 15 minutes is long. Maybe he just wants to get back home ASAP to rest since he has to go back office the next day to work. I remember I was complaining it’s taking quite long as I’m really in a rush of time. What may seem to be a good service to one may not be to another. Take for example, shopping in a boutique and the sales person approached you and recommend all sorts of clothes for you. Some thinks it is a very good service attitude while others just detest it and secretly praying, please shoo, don’t disturb me. Reflecting on ourselves, are we demanding too much? And it’s because of these expectations that we actually hurt ourselves and the people around us?
